Women's Ministry

Our women's ministry is growing fast. Good Shepherd Lutheran Church's Women's Ministry exists to provide opportunities for women to grow in their walk with Christ, cultivate meaningful relationships with other women, and fulfill the Lord's word to help people to find and follow Jesus. If you’re looking for a place for fun, fellowship and spiritual growth, we have a place for you.  Fellowship events and retreats are lifted up in our weekly newsletter, Shepherd's Post.  Some of the ongoing programs include: 

Current Women’s Ministry Events

Tuesday Book Club


The Tuesday Night Book Club is an informal group of women enjoying friendship and perspective. We discuss books from a variety of genres, non-fiction, and fiction - chosen from suggestions by members. The Book Club gathers the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. to share dessert and lively discussion.


Sisters In Grace Bible Study

The Sisters In Grace meets weekly on Thursday mornings, 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at Good Shepherd. The group meets in room 207 in the Education Wing.  


Phoebe Circle Bible Study


This group of women meets monthly on the first Tuesday of the month in the Lobby Classroom at 1:30pm. This group is a great way to learn more about the Bible, and to grow closer to God and each other.


Thursday Night Bible Study

This group digs into numerous Biblical studies in the course of the year.  They meet in Shepherd’s Hall every Thursday from 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.   New topics are announced in advance so it's easy for new people to join in.
