Ways To Give
Choose the best way for you to give. Good Shepherd Lutheran Church has many options for you to give; in person, online, and through intentional legacy planning. Cash contributions (cash, check or electronic offerings) to the church qualify as charitable contributions for income tax purposes. We record all cash offerings allowing us to generate statements which are printed and mailed to you on a monthly basis.
With a click of your mouse, you can easily set up online giving. With this easy to use platform, you can securely schedule your gifts to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Online giving allows you to transact a donation to the church using your credit or debit card or directly from your checking or savings account. Please note that credit cards pose a transaction fee to the church of 2.65% to 3.5% of the total. Contributions drawn directly from a checking or savings account to not incur these fees.
“Simply Giving” is an automated, paperless program where funds are transferred from the contributor's bank account directly into the church's bank account. The process is simple; you decide how much and when. There is no charge to you for this method. We have laminated cards at the entrance to the sanctuary for our automated givers. Those who wish to put one in the offering plate as a witness of their online giving are invited to do so.
