Each winter Good Shepherd Lutheran Church provides First Communion instruction for elementary children. If children are in first grade or older, the parents may chose to enroll them in First Communion classes. Our program is an interactive and fun three week experience that prepares our youth for an important milestone in their lives.
First Communion classes for 2010-2011 are scheduled for 10:15 am on Sundays, January 23, January 30 and February 6. Children will be taking their First Communion at either the 11:30 am service on Sunday, February 13. There will be a breakfast celebration for the entire class at 10:15 a.m. in Shepherd's Hall.
