After the 3-year program, there is a special Confirmation service where the 8th grade youth affirm their faith. The youth proclaim that they believe in God and wish to become full members of the church
Confirmation is celebrated at the 11:30 am Sunday service on May 20.
There is a big brunch celebration at 10:00 am in Shepherd's Hall for all the Confirmation class and their families and friends.
Join the Class
Confirmation is a 3-year program for Middle School Youth. During the 3 years, the youth participate in:
- Weekly classes during the Sunday School hour
- Retreats
- Community Service Projects
- Youth-led Worship Services, and
- Other fun activities
Youth learn the basics of our Lutheran faith and develop a great group of Christian friends

- The Eighth Grade Community Service Retreat in D.C. - Feb 19-20, 2012
