2012 - Upgrading our
Position to Thrive
One year ago, we adopted a mission strategy called “Getting in Position to Thrive.” We have made a lot of progress, focusing on six key areas of:
- Reach out to New People
- Connect our Adults to Groups
- Helping People find their Place
- Young Family & Youth Development
- Formalize our Caring Ministry Network
- Fully Fund the Mission

We have a dedicated Stewardship Committee working hard to ensure that Good Shepherd has sufficient financial resources and to keep the congregation informed in an upbeat fashion.

Submit Your Pledge for 2012
Please prayfully consider your financial commitment to the ministry here at Good Shepherd. Our approved budget for 2012 is $1,350,000, a fairly modest increase of about $31,000 over 2011. We are doing better with our giving so far this year, but we are still "top heavy" and have a rather high percentage of persons who do not give.
That is why we are asking everyone to make a pledge to support our ministry in the coming year, and this year, we've made it easier for you than ever before! You can now submit your pledge online simply & securely by clicking here and simply filling out the short form. If you prefer the paper method, you can download the form here, and then simply print it, fill it out, and either place it in the offering plate at church or mail it to the office.
Why Should I Give?
You may be asking yourself this question as you ponder your pledge for the coming year. Well, this past fall, we asked several of our members that same question, and we put together a video with their responses. They make it clear that every little bit you can give makes an impact, and we think that you will be amazed at the impact you will make on both others and yourself!
